WeatherBug for Linux utilizes WeatherBug's system of national weather stations throughout the United States, known as the WeatherBug Network. This network is the largest and most technologically advanced in the world (five times larger than any other weather network, including the National Weather Service). WeatherBug is unique as it allows the end user to select the nearest weather station to their home location, instead of assigning a station from a limited database of locations/airports.
The WeatherBug for Linux application provides immediate access to local forecast information including the current temperature, wind speed, Doppler radar and rain accumulated for that day. The application also gives the user complete control over how often the data is updated through a data throttle. For more information, please visit: weatherbug.com.
