Mr. Korzenko joined CNR in 2013 and has 20 years of investment industry experience. He leads credit research for the municipal fixed income team and is responsible for analytics and strategy for the investment grade business. Mr. Korzenko is also responsible for helping support the CNR Municipal High Income Fund and is a frequent contributor to departmental publications and insights.
Previously, Mr. Korzenko served as Vice President of Credit Research for Advisors Asset Management, where he was responsible for taxable and tax-exempt fixed income portfolio analytics. Mr. Korzenko began his career at Neuberger Berman as a Vice President of Municipal Fixed Income with various roles that included trading, portfolio management, and research.
Mr. Korzenko earned his BA and MA from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst ® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts. Mike and his wife, Sandy, have two children that keep them busy traveling and cheering from the sidelines at their sports games. He enjoys boating and spending time with family and friends
