Ali Terry

Ali joined City National Rochdale in 2021 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She works closely with each client’s advisor to develop a customized portfolio based on the client’s investment objectives, time horizon, income needs, and risk tolerance. In this role, she is responsible for the investment strategy implementation and monitoring of private client portfolios, as well as direct relationship management.

Prior to City National Rochdale, Ms. Terry spent her entire career working in the financial services industry, across equity research, high-yield research, and private credit portfolio management roles. She began her career at Citigroup Asset Management in equity research covering Industrial and Aerospace and Defense equities. Following Citigroup, Ali worked in portfolio management roles at H.I.G WhiteHorse, Hourglass Capital, and AIG Investments.

Ms. Terry earned her BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University where she was selected for the Mays College of Business Fellowship Program. She earned her MBA in Finance from the University of Texas where she was a member of the MBA Investment Fund. Ms. Terry holds the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Houston. She is also a graduate of The Dale Carnegie Course on Human Relations and Communications. In her free time she enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and playing tennis with her husband and their three children.
