Mr. Hu joined City National Rochdale in 2007. He is a co-Portfolio Manager for the firm's Equity Income strategy and the City National Rochdale Equity Income Fund (RIMHX).
Previously, Mr. Hu was an Equity Research Associate in an Institutional Investor ranked team at Bear Stearns from 2005 to 2007, and held equity research positions at ThinkEquity Partners and Morningstar.
Mr. Hu received his MSE in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan and his MBA in Finance from the London Business School. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and the Financial Risk Manager certification. He is a member of CFA Society New York and CFA Institute. He is an avid international traveler who also enjoys art, films, and theaters in his free time.
